Walking along the paths of the most dangerous volcano in Europe to come to the mouth of the crater, it’s an unforgettable excursion. The destructive force of Vesuvius destroyed Pompeii, Herculaneum and Oplontis in 79 AD. The volcano is still active and usually erupts every 20 years, but from 1944, the year in which took its last eruption that destroyed several nearby towns, has interrupted this regular cycle.

Duration: 4 hours (approximately – half day)

This tour can be combined with one of the following tours (full day 8 hours):  Herculaneum, Pompeii, Sorrento or Naples tour.

You will meet our driver, who will be waiting with a sign in your name. You will travel aboard our luxurious and comfortable Mercedes minivan with Wi-Fi FREE.

We will wait for a predetermined point near the entrance then return to the starting point or destination pre agreed.

Town of departure: Naples (hotel, train station and airport included).
